Zorah Belle and CCA!

The Collector's Club Appreciation announcement came out today! It is right on time based on recent history and the teases that came out in the newsletter. I wondered if there would be changes this year but it looks like it's the same deal as last year - add $150+ of regular line products tomorrow after 1PM ET and get a free glossy! There is a limit of one per CC account.
This year's glossies are Atlanta, the Orren Mixer POA, Cossaco, and Spinabbey. To me this looks like one of the best selections in recent years - all four are popular molds that will look great in gloss. I'm excited about any/all of them but I would particularly like to get the POA for my Nikolas conga (even though completeness is admittedly dead after the April Fool's giveaway) and Atlanta because I love that mold and glossy bay is aways a must! I would also be perfectly happy to receive either of the other two however.
I'm going to be out tomorrow on a project so hopefully I'll be able to sneak away for a minute to put my order in. I'm not sure that they'll sell out immediately but I don't want to take the chance if I don't have to! I'll have to do some browsing tonight and pre-fill my cart on my phone and decide what I want to try to get.
And speaking of buying RRs, I took my own advice last week and purchased Zorah Belle on Amazon given the sale. I do have the really nice one that I handpicked at Breyerfest in 2023 when they first came out but I have seen that there are some that are Very Chalky and I've been hoping to get one like that. It seems like they've been a recent variaton so I figured I'd give it a try or at $31 if not chalky I think she's one to stick in the closet and sell 5 years from now.

But good news, I did get a Very Chalky one! This one has a gorgeous thick basecoat (my favorite) and great color and pretty much flawless. Definitely a success! I'll be keeping both because I do still love my not chalky original as well. I have a nice little conga of this mold going - I just love her.

The non-chalky is VIN Apr 23 and the chalky is VIN Jun 24. Actually VINGZ 0624 which is interesting - I wonder why the change.

Also, because why not, I picked up the Effortless Grace set. It was also on sale ($20) and I need the foal for the conga. I've been holding off for a good price since she is just a shelf model. The color and pattern is not realistic but I do enjoy the 90s throwback style of her. The Mariah mare is pretty and metallic but not something I collect so she'll be in room sales. They had the 75th anniversary sticker on the box which is cool.
