We Made it to May!

And that means just two months until Breyerfest and Equilocity! I'm starting to get excited now - the weather is feeling like summer and this year is looking especially fun.
I did go ahead and order some extra tickets. I am trying something new this year and I bought extra online tickets! I have always considered this since they started offering both and if I look at it logically it is the obvious choice. First and foremost, they are cheaper than onsite tickets. It reminds me of the old days when we would buy a bunch of child's tickets as extras. Secondly they will ship the models to me after Breyerfest. This has two benefits. I won't have to find room for the extra SRs in the car for the drive home and it extends the fun and excitement out a couple weeks so I can look forward to seeing what I get. Lastly this year all of the most popular SRs are also the online options so it feels like it makes more sense and I will have better odds of getting the popular ones with online tickets and conversely a great chance of getting the onsite SRs in the leftovers without needing extra tickets.
Really the only reason to get more in person tickets is the instant gratification and then the option to sell or trade any extras in person. This certainly still holds some weight with me and so I did also get a couple extra in person tickets, but I'm leaning in on online this year... we shall see how it goes, especially once the pick lists are out and our selections are confirmed! Literally my own personal top 4, and really probably top 5, picks are all the online options. I don't collect Croi, or Brishen, or dogs, and I'm not sure about the Mare & Foal yet. I haven't yet seen them in person to know if I really like them or not. I'm on the fence from photos but also a glossy bay can sway me to love just about anything! So I'm sure I'll want her.
I don't talk about Stones as much on here, but I am still a fan! You'll see some of my collection in my Are You Kitten Me round up post tomorrow. I'm a lot more selective with them since I already have some really nice pieces on all my favorite molds from over the years. Still I always keep an eye out and I enjoy looking at all the best offers and tracking the prices there too. Today is Design a Horse day and I am eyeing the May Bunny option. They put a swishing tail and flowing mane on her and I think she looks just adorable in this hair! It's also $99 Chips day which is always popular and there are some really cute realistic color options this month. Chips are released at 1PM and DAH at 2PM - with Stones you have to be there on the DOT to even have a chance to get the ones you want, so set your timers.

I mean, how cute is that?! In gloss? Stop it.
I also like the 4 high whites option. It also looks great in palomino or the bright bay. Ahgh.
