The biggest sale last week was of course Collector Club Appreciation. One thing I'm always interested to see as a gauge is which (regular line) models sold out. This year it looks like that is Riptide and the Longhorn bull. I am not surprised by Riptide. He is arguably the most popular of all the 2025 releases. But it is also nice to see how popular the bull is! It has been a long time since the animals were in the regular line and hopefully this one's popularity will mean more of them in the future. I personally (mostly) stopped collecting the cattle and animals because I ran out of space, but I love seeing them getting used!
Anthem and Obsidian also sold out - probably for good. Anthem was the patriotic SR in 2022 and Obsidian was discontinued in 2023 so that was likely the last of the stock for them. Pony pouches also sold out in all scales - always a popular way for live showers to get to the $150 CCA target!
One thing that hasn't sold out yet is the actual CCA glossy model. They have clearly upped the number of these over the years. Where they used to sell out very quicky, now they tend to stay available for the whole order period and often make another appearance in the fall. The good news for shoppers is that they can take their time (unless they are hoping to get pony pouches) or for those who prefer to just get their glossy on the secondary market, without buying some things they didn't want anyway, most have been selling for less than the $150 and are easy to find.
The glossies have been arriving on the east coast and based on my very unscientific tracking of who has shown what they look to be pretty evenly divided except Atlanta - I've seen quite a few POA, Spinabbey, and Cossaco - but it's way too soon to tell and we will likely have better polling in the future once all the orders have arrived. Last year the four glossies looked to be an even split based on self reporting. Glossy Mojave was by far the most popular, but was not any more rare than the others for people who ordered.
Prices on Amazon are up again just slightly and there is no buy of the week - which is just as well with CCA going on!
Over on eBay - I didn't have too many notable things

This gorgeous NIB glossy Oliver sold for $2700 on May 5. He's one of the most popular celebration models in recent history and really pops with gloss. I'm a little surprised he didn't end up higher but that is in the high end for the glossy celebration horses so it is probably right on target.

In Connoisseurs news, this lovely Valiant sold for $699.99. That is up for him, especially without a COA (this one only had the bag). Last year he was selling around $400-$500.

I didn't have much vintage of interest on my watchlist this week but I guess stickers are on the outs at the moment because I was surprised this gorgeous set sold for only $48 - that isn't much more than they would go for without a sticker. We have probably fully reached the saving-for-Breyerfest period among vintage collectors.
